Katie and I have laughed about Jerry Springer ever since she and Cris got married. We firmly believe that we would be turned down as being:
1. Too presentable.
2. Too well-educated.
3. Unable to swear and scream "You don't know me" with a Hillbilly accent.
4. Worst of all....no one would believe our story !!!There is one aspect of our family I have never mentioned here before, and it's a riot. Here's the outline:
My sister (Becky) has at various times been married to Alan, Steve and Steven. Notice that their initials spell ASS. Anyway, she divorced Alan, who married Pam. Then she married Steve, who was my brother's arch enemy in high school. Then she divorced Steve to marry Steven and become a dominatrix. Steve then married Pam's half-sister, Angela, who was my brother's girlfriend when he was in school. Pam and Angela's mother/stepmother married my mom's cousin. Pam and Angela have a third sister, Tracey, who married my sister's daughter's husband's brother. They fell in love at one of the above-mentioned weddings.
Katie, when she explains to to people, ends the discussion by a rousing rendition of "I'm My Own Grandpa", while Festus plays the spoons and Miss Eulalie fiddles.
You don't need to watch Springer, Mindy. I could keep you entertained for the next decade at least !
